Ragnarok Online 2 Legend of the second sword, HackShield problem



Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second

I fixed the HackShield problem.
So I Had an issue with it not loading correctly.

Here is what I did...
(I have a Windows 7, 64 bit system)

1) Go into your RO2 folder and find the following file:
...\PlayPark\RO2\HSHIELD\Update\autoup.exe - Run this first.

2) Download the latest manual patch: http://edge.cdn.star...ManualPatch.exe

3) Install the manual patch into the same location/folder where you installed RO2.

4) Once complete - run RO2 and let the HackShield update. It may seem like it has stopped or frozen, but give it about 1-2 minutes and it will suddenly complete download and then launch game.

[For those who did not load the Hackshield after click the Login Button]
Step 1: Find your RO2 Installation Folder, basically locate at C:\PlayPark\RO2 (Depend on where you choose to install)

Step 2: Find a file with the name of vc_red.msi, double click the file to install it. (Make sure you close the RO2 client before install.)

Step 3: Once done, try to open again. Should be able to run after that.

[For those players who run the Hackshield but it's taking for so long to update]
Step 1: Find your RO2 Installation Folder, basically locate at C:\PlayPark\RO2 (Depend on where you choose to install)

Step 2: Find a folder named "HSHIELD".

Step 3: Find a folder named "Update", and click the file named "autoup" and manually install it.

Step 4: Click the "Start Update" to begin the update. (Make sure you close the RO2 client before install.)

Step 3: Once done, try to open the client again. Should be able to run after that.

[Didn't popup anything after the Hackshield updated]
This is the solution for some players only. But you can try this out, maybe it's work for you.

Step 1: Find the "Ragnarok Online2" client's icon on your desktop.

Step 2: Right click the icon and choose "Properties".

Step 3: Choose the "Compatibility" tab.

Step 4: Under the Compatibility Mode, please tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

Step 5: Choose "Windows XP SP2", and tick the "Run as administration"(For Windows Vista and Windows 7/8 Only)

Step 6: Click OK to done the setting.

Step 7: Try to re-open the client again.

hackshield wont update tried everything...

Ah, what happen? or what is going on on you hack shield? whats the last thing you see? lol.

Cant help if idk where you are. Information is the key to a lot of things.

one thing you can try is, I just go to where I installed ragnarok 2, on your computer.
which is here for me.
E:\PlayPark\RO2\HSHIELD

and just opened up. HSUpdate.exe
which starts up its update then after like 1 min, since mine is updated it finishes

Also Ragnarok 2 is delayed till Jan 3, 2013 sorry. . . :-( ya its sad. . . .

I can't run the game after hackshield updated. My computer is windows xp sp3.any solution on that? It's make me crazy now..

what happens after the hackshield? dose it close by it self? or any thing starts up after?
