Metal Build Gundam Exia & Repair III

Metal Build Gundam Exia & Repair III

Gundam Exia
The GN-001 Gundam Exia is the mobile suit piloted by protagonist Setsuna F Seiei during the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Exia is the first Gundam to appear in the series as it overpowers and destroys the AEU's latest mobile suit, the Enact, during a public demonstration of the Enact's capabilities.[e 1] Designed for melee combat, Exia's primary weapon is a massive metal blade mounted on its right forearm, which can be folded down to reveal a beam gun. Additional hand-held swords, beam blades and shield complement Exia's armament. While the Exia is in battle with Ali Al-Saachez piloting the stolen Gundam Throne Zwei, the death of Aeolia Schenberg triggers a system trap and activates Exia's Trans-Am system, releasing the Gundam's full potential.[e 2] During the battle at Lagrange point 1, Exia is severely damaged during its confrontation with Graham Aker in an upgraded Flag, the GN-Flag, and left drifting in space.[e 3] The partially repaired Exia makes a short appearance during the first episode of the second season. Although it can stand its ground against the GN-XIII, it is no match for the newer Ahead. Celestial Being recovers the Exia after its battle at the Proud colony and installs the Exia's GN Drive on the 00 Gundam.[e 4] A repaired and upgraded Exia, dubbed the R2, makes another appearance in the last episode of the second season, when Setsuna transfers from the wrecked 00 Gundam to pilot the Exia against the 0 Gundam, piloted by Ribbons Allmark.

MG 1/100 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee

MG 1/100 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 "Banshee"

Appearing in the novel's eighth volume, "Black Unicorn" and in the ending of the OVA episode "In the Depths of the Gravity Well," the Banshee is a more powerful[2] version of the Unicorn tuned for atmospheric flight. The most visible difference between the two Unicorns is that the Banshee sports a black color scheme, a gold psycoframe when in Destroy Mode, and a more elaborate head crest. In the novel, a gold plating covers the head crest in Unicorn mode, while the OVA version has gold on the faceplate and collar area as well as the crest to emphasize a lion-style motif. The OVA Banshee sports a beam smart gun on the right forearm called the Armed Armor BS and a massive heat claw on the left forearm called the Armed Armor VN. In the novel series, the Sleeves steal the Banshee, but the Nahel Argama crew eventually recover it and assign Riddhe Marcenas as the pilot. In the OVA episode "Black Unicorn," Anaheim Electronics deploys the unit with the recently-reconditioned Cyber-Newtype Marida Cruz (Ple 12) as its pilot. The unit is shown to have strong psycoframe resonances during its clash with the Unicorn and is left behind aboard the Garuda air fortress. It is implied that Riddhe will pilot the unit in a future episode.

HG 1/144 Tallgeese Ⅲ

HG 1/144 Tallgeese Ⅲ

The Tallgeese (トールギス Tōrugisu?) is the predecessor of all mobile suits used through Gundam Wing. Introduced in episode 3 and first operated in episode 9 by Zechs Merquise, the suit is extremely powerful, but also physically and mentally strenuous, to the point of causing physical harm to its pilots. Zechs suffers a heart attack when he first pilots Tallgeese, but he eventually masters the suit. The Tallgeese is the only mobile suit capable of matching a Gundam in combat. Its armament consists primarily of its long-range dober rifle and a beam saber for close combat. At some point between episodes 18 and 22, Tallgeese is modified for space travel, allowing Zechs (as Milliardo Peacecraft) to visit the colonies. Tallgeese is self-destructed in episode 34, allowing Zechs to claim the Wing Gundam ZERO, and later the Gundam Epyon. The Tallgeese II is built from spare parts left over from the original Tallgeese project, combined with an Epyon-like appearance and piloted by Treize Khushrenada during the final battle from episode 46 to episode 48. Its armament is exactly same as the original Tallgeese (long-range dober gun and beam saber). This Tallgeese is destroyed when Treize allows Chang Wufei, piloting the Altron Gundam, to kill him in combat. In Endless Waltz, the Tallgeese III is introduced, and is said to have been built by Treize prior to his death. It has armaments that make it superior to the previous two versions: a large beam cannon (similar to Wing ZERO's), which is used to destroy the resource satellite MO-III, and a retractable heat whip built into the shield (similar to Epyon's). This Tallgeese is piloted by Zechs when he returns from "death" (self-imposed exile) and uses it against the Mariemaia Army. Notably, the Tallgeese is visibly taller than any mobile suit in the anime, as is the real-life toy counterpart. According to the prequel manga Episode Zero, a fourth Tallgeese, identical to the original, was in existence, and was piloted by the wife of Wufei, Long Meiran. The original Tallgeese unit was designed in After Colony 170 by the Romefeller Foundation to provide an armed unit based on mobile suit technology. The resulting design was extremely powerful, but expensive to mass-produce and too rough on its pilots. The design was simplified, resulting in the standard Leo mobile suit.

Gameplay

The game is considered a spin-off to the original game in the series, Ragnarok Online.[6] However, unlike Ragnarok Online, which is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Ragnarok Tactics is a tactical role-playing game, playing more similarly to Final Fantasy Tactics. However, elements of the Ragnarok Online universe are still present, such as similar settings or the fact that crouching/sitting can restore character's health.[7][8]
The game is played on a grid, where the player must move characters strategically to cause damage to the opposing party, with the end goal usually to defeat the opposing side.
Customization is strongly emphasized in the game; with characters' genders, statistics, skills, equipment all being customizeable.[9][6][4] Furthermore, the player can chose to join three different factions, and make different choices to take different paths throughout the game, leading to five different endings.[7] The game does not require players to replay the game five times to see each ending, but rather, the player can opt to go back to crucial points in the game and chose a different path.

Story

The game's story begins with two nations, Branshaldo Empire and the Aura Republic, at war with each other over possession of an area of land called the Grantria Peninsula.[2] The nations call a truce, but relations remain poor, with the fear of war erupting again constantly looming.[2] The player gets to chose which party they side with, determining which side of the story is told.[6]

Development

The game was first announced in April 2011 in an issue of Famitsu.[10] In September 2011, GungHo released a demo that actually allowed players to play through the entirety of the game, although, through only one of the many paths and viewpoints of the game.[11] At E3 2012, Aksys Games announced they would release the game in English in North America on November 6, 2012.[4]
